Jimenez says Zumba is the best way to workout for people who don't like the gym. In addition to working out, Zumba helps raise students' endorphin levels.
"Zumba helps make positive changes in people's lives," Jimenez says. "It makes you feel good. I like to give people their confidence back and make them love themselves... I know what it did for me, and I know what it can do for other people."
There were about 25 students in my class, all of whom were women, with the exception of one man and one boy. They are pay attention to fitness .The class ranged in age, with some college-age students and some mothers there with their children. Most of the students were intermediate level.
